Dental X-rays
We rely heavily on dental X-rays for diagnosing tooth decay and performing preventative dental care. X-ray screenings use low amounts of radiation for scanning the bones and other tissues. They are minimally invasive yet give detailed images of the teeth and gums we can’t see with the naked eye.
Fortunately, X-rays can show cavities, gum disease, and other harmful conditions in their earliest stages. As a result, this imaging tool helps us prevent these conditions before they worsen. Therefore, we include X-ray screenings as part of routine check-ups.
